Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is PCDKWD20190724 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333112 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.UnisonMarketplace.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2019-07-29 15:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.UnisonMarketplace.com. FOB Destination shall be Pueblo, CO 81006 The MICC End User requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: The required commercial pro chipper/shredder must have 48 free-swinging hammers that chip through lighter materials up to 1.5 inches thick. Must have a large vertically oriented hopper to handle large feeds. Must be able to create fine mulch perfect for composting or tilling into soil. Must include side chipper chute to demolish branches up to 5 inches in diameter. Must have big pneumatic 16.5 tires to provide smooth riding. The shredder hopper must have a opening of 20 inches by 18 inches. Road towing must be standard and included with ball hitch, tow bar, safety chains, fenders, and DOT approved tires that are rated at speeds up to 45 mph. Hopper opening must be 9 inches by 13 inches. Chipper knife speed must be at least 100 mph. Chipper flywheel must be at least 14 inches. Must have at least 115,200 shredder chamber hits per minute. Standard screen hole size must be 1.5 inch by 5.625 inch with a safety blowback shield. Engine needs to be a Generac G-Force Electric Dual element air cooling 420cc OHV 19.8ft-lbs torque with splash lubrication, 1-cylinder, 37 oz oil capacity SAE 30W HD. Fuel system that holds at least 1.7 gallons of fuel. Overall length 86 inch by 53 inch wide by 50 inch heigh with a weight of 545 pounds. Flywheel weight of 33 lbs and 14 inch diameter. Frame must be 7 gauge material with the hopper made of steel and the chipper knife of D2 heat treated tool steel. Tire size must be 16.5 inch by 4.80/4-8 and a saw tooth tread on both tires., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested Offerers must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted by using the 'Submit a Question' feature at www.UnisonMarketplace.com. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC End User intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, Unison, Inc. Unison Marketplace has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC End User is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.UnisonMarketplace.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.UnisonMarketplace.com. Offerers that are not currently registered to use www.UnisonMarketplace.com should proceed to www.UnisonMarketplace.com to complete their free registration.
