Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) number 36C78619Q0407 to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove and dispose of one wood shed; remove and dispose a section of concrete road and sidewalk; and restore site with topsoil and sod at Danville National Cemetery, Danville, Virginia. Unless additional notice is given or this notice is modified or cancelled, the full solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov). This solicitation is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Only verified SDVOSB firms are eligible to submit an offer or receive an award of a VA contract that is set aside for SDVOSB in accordance with VAAR Part 819. A non-verified vendor that submits a bid or proposal will be rejected as non-responsive. To be eligible for award, the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS Code and must be registered and verified at www.vetbiz.gov. Companies must have the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) seal on their registration to be considered for an award; the VIP database will be checked upon receipt of an offer prior to award. Firms must be registered in the System for Award Management database at www.sam.gov and have completed online certification and representations prior to award; www.cpscontractor.nih.gov and www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm. There will be a site investigation; all prospective offerors are encouraging to attend. Details of the site investigation will be included in the solicitation package.
