Description: Procure the services of an independent contractor, AVID Aerospace LLC (AVID) to continue and complete the study Firefighting Aircraft Study. AVID was awarded a contract for an airtanker study in June 2012 and produced a report delivered to the Forest Service in December 2012. Another contract was awarded to review an additional two years of data which produced a report delivered to the Forest Service in December 2014. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (23-JUL-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
