Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Army Contracting Command, Tenant Contracting Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846 intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) soliciting from a single source. Only one source is capable of providing the, 20mm, M103 primed with the electric M52A3B1 Primer, ALLIANT TECHSYSTEMS OPERATIONS LLC, Hwy 7 & 78 Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, Independence, MO 64056, CAGE Code is 1PHL2, NAICS Code is 332992, Business Size Standard size is 1250, Large Business. The Aberdeen Test Center requires the purchase of 25,000 cases, 20mm, M103 primed with the electric M52A3B1 Primer. Please see the attachment labeled, "J&A - redacted" for further detail as to why this action is being negotiated solely with Alliant Techsystems Operations LLC.
