- Page 1 of 2 US Department of Veterans Affairs Request for Information/Sources Sought 36C10B19Q0582 Veterans Point of Operational and Sustainment Support Services It is the Government s intent to award a sole source contract to Vecna Technologies under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, for continued operations, maintenance, and reporting for currently deployed VetLink kiosks throughout the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and Community-Based Outpatient Clinics. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c) (16) (ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Agency. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/Sources Sought in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 15.201(e) to conduct market research for information and planning purposes only. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the responders to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement Requirements: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Point of Service (VPS) Program Office requires a comprehensive range of project management, system administration support, extended warranty, and performance management sustainment support for currently deployed VPS Kiosks. The Contractor shall have the single point of responsibility for the operation, maintenance and reporting of the VetLink hardware and software solution. The Contractor shall provide system administration support to include operations and maintenance support services, inclusive of a three-tier service desk as well as technical sustainment and system performance and capacity monitoring. The Contractor shall provide information assurance support to include information system authorization, testing, and continuous monitoring. The Contractor shall provide extended warranty support to include repair and replacement in accordance with extended warranty terms and conditions. The Contractor shall provide performance management sustainment support to include performance data management, performance data analytics, data reporting, maintenance of current performance dashboards, site specific end user sustainment support, and end user sustainment training. For informational purposes, below are the descriptions and model numbers of the kiosks currently deployed in the field: Free Standing vKiosk v7, 17 LCD All-in-one Touch Screen Computer, CPU,10/100 Ethernet/NIC, HIPAA 48-degree Privacy Screen, Magstrip/Barcode Reader, USB ports, Power cable, AC/DC Power Adapter, proximity sensor, and small thermal receipt printer; insurance card scanner peripheral - V90-FK-KIOSKV7 Desk Mounted (aka Table Top Mounted) vKiosk v7, 17 LCD All-in-one Touch Computer, CPU, 10/100 Ethernet/NIC, HIPAA 48-degree Privacy Screen, Magstrip/Barcode Reader, USB ports, Power cable, ACDC Power Adapter, proximity sensor and small thermal receipt printer; insurance card scanner peripheral - V90-TT-KIOSKV7 Wall Mounted vKiosk v7, 17 LCD All-in-one Touch Computer, CPU, 10/100 Ethernet/NIC, HIPAA 48-degree Privacy Screen, Magstrip/Barcode Reader, USB ports, Power cable, ACDC Power Adapter, proximity sensor and small thermal receipt printer; insurance card scanner peripheral (V90-OPT-004) - V90-WMKIOSK-V7 Additionally, 7.1 and 7.4 Replacement Kiosk Heads are deployed in the field Deployed kiosks are equipped with a National Security Operation Center (NSOC) Remediation hardware upgrade kit Nothing in this document should be considered binding or in any way obligate VA to perform. VA welcomes comments on any part of this document. For project planning and information gathering, the Draft PWS is attached which defines the scope of requirements. Information obtained from this RFI will be used within the VA and will not be disclosed outside of the Agency.
