Eisenhower VA Medical Center 4101 South 4Th Street Leavenworth, Kansas 66048 It must interface with the VA s Vista and prescription information from Vista is transferred to the Script Pro Automation via a HL7 connection where it can be filled via a machine rather than a human being. Certain medications have been deemed by the FDA to require special labeling called Med Guides that are required to be dispensed to the patient along with the medication. Script Pro has printers that will print the Med guides when the prescription is verified by a Pharmacist. This allows the patient to receive the required information and saves the pharmacist of the effort to either manually print a med guide or find a copy of a pre-printed one. The Vendor will provide the VA with printers that will interface with both Vista and Script Pro and print the required prescription information as well as the Medication Guide for medications that require them.
