Description
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF AN UPCOMING SOLICITATION The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region intends to solicit quotations to provide professional vegetation restoration services to restore and enhance fish, riparian and upland habitat on the Yakima river near Ellensburg, Washington. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies and equipment necessary to implement the Revegetation Plan for the project area. The Revegetation Plan includes the details of plant species, plant requirements, planting methods, seed mixes, and soil treatments necessary to implement and monitor an aggressive revegetation plan for the project. The anticipated minimum primary tasks necessary to meet the Government ¿s performance objectives are site preparation, planting, invasive species control and revegetation monitoring. A copy of the Revegetation Plan Site Assessment and Evaluation Report will be included in the solicitation. Pursuant to Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Reclamation intends to award one fixed-price contract. Detailed specifications for this requirement will be available under solicitation 140R1719Q0016 to be issued later. The Government anticipates an Option Year Contract with a Base and four (4) option years to be awarded to a single vendor. Reclamation anticipates issuing the RFQ set-aside for Woman Owned Small Business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562910 with an associated Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees. Reclamation will consider all responsible sources who submit a timely quote that conforms to the solicitation. Prospective offerors may submit written, signed quotes on company letterhead, with contact information by mail to, or in person, at Bureau of Reclamation, PO Box 620, Code 7810, Grand Coulee, WA 99133, or by electronic mail to tmest@usbr.gov.
