- The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Plains Area, U.S. Meat Animal Research Center, intends to award on a sole source basis for: PromethION Flow Cell Packs with Oxford Nanopore Technologies Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals. No solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide this equipment are encouraged to identify themselves and provide a quotation statement with equipment specifications and any other supporting information to the Contracting Officer identified in this notice. All information received will be considered by the Government to determine if the alternative supplies meet the Government's requirement and can perform the intended task(s). All responses must be in writing and may be emailed to Daniel Kinney at dan.kinney@ars.usda.gov.
