Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses. Responses to this notice shall include: Company Name Address Point of Contact Phone, Fax, and Email DUNS number Cage Code Type of business, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUB Zone, Women Owned Small Business, SDB Must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform the work described below: The Colmery - O Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka, Kansas is looking to procure 2 Wound Vacs. Requirements (shall meet or exceed): The negative pressure wound therapy system will be able to provide up to -200mmHg of pressure to wounds and no less than -25mmHg The negative pressure wound therapy system will have settings for intermittent and continuous pressure settings that are adjustable based upon need for the wound The system will have a closed system for maintaining body fluids from the wound drainage The system must have compatible wound dressings to meet the needs for VA wound healing Have the option for saline instillation to clean and debride wounds without surgical debridement Black foam, white foam and spiral foam options Multi-lumen technology to help with tubing occlusion Can be used with Provena dressings as we often get veterans with these dressings from outside hospitals 1 year warranty with option to extend Loaner pumps available free of additional charge during service Shipping is to be included in the quote. Vendor must include training and maintenance manuals. Additional Information: Please provide capabilities your system has that are not listed above. Please provide information on how your system operates. Include general overview and technical information for the Eastern Kansas VAMC. Grey Market Goods: (a) Gray market items are Original Equipment Manufacturer s (OEM) goods sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors. This procurement is for new OEM medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts) for VA Medical Centers. No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable. (b) Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. (c) The delivery of gray market items to the VA in the fulfillment of an order/award constitutes a breach of contract. Accordingly, the VA reserves the right enforce any of its contractual remedies. This includes termination of the contract or, solely at the VA s election, allowing the Vendor to replace, at no cost to the Government, any remanufactured or gray market item(s) delivered to a VA medical facility upon discovery of such items.
