Description
Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, Phoenix, AZ Office has a requirement for two (2) outdoor type, 3-phase shunt capacitor bank and associated equipment, using one free-standing bank per phase of the open-rack-type. The capacitor bank equipment shall be designed, rated, manufactured, and tested in accordance with the latest industry standards, including Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers IEEE) Standard No. 18, and IEEE Standard 1036, unless otherwise specified. In the event of contradictory requirements between IEEE and the Specification. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ). The assigned NAICS is 335311 with a size standard of 750 employees. This requirement will be solicited as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated and only new equipment will be accepted. Interested parties can download the solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov on or about July 22, 2019.
