THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following item: Requirement for Cart Caddy 1 CCshorty SHEET WHITE Heavy duty steel frame, 800 lb. diferential/transaxle, high tech variable speed controller, (3) 12 volt maintainable batteries 36v 2 16" Bushing Fifth Wheel Arm for CartCaddy Shorty/Lite: Easily rotates 180 degrees for intricate turning and maneuvers. For use with spring hitch and electric transfer arm actuator 3 Manual 6" Spring Attachment Handle Tube: Includes vertical tubes, two heavy duty springs, manual handle to push down/up to lower/raise custom attachment to quickly grab/connect to cart/rack 4 Custom Adjustable Powder Coated Mild -Steel Attachment: per customer specific material handling bin dimensions (TBD) ___" high, ___" deep (to grab ___" frame), ___" wide, ___" front lip, ___" rear lip, ___" fork/cutout (to reach around obstruction), ___" long reach (go under ___" product overhang) 6 12 " Foam Filled GRAY-NON-MARKING Tire Upgrade: Upgrades standard pnumatic tire, will never go flat or leave marks on flooring 7 High Output Motor/Controller w/Internal Electric Motor Brake: Needed for heavy load or use on inclines. The Veteran Administration is required to give priority to SDVOSB and then VOSB concerns if there should be sufficient firms available to compete under a set-aside. If insufficient veteran owned small business responses are received, the acquisition will be set-aside for small business participation if there are sufficient firms available. If insufficient small business responses are received, the action will be advertised for full and open competition. The NAICS 722330 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 1500 employees. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award.
