Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Saul Mineroff Electronics located at 574 Meacham Ave, Elmont NY for an acquisition of audio and video concealments. Saul Mineroff is the sole manufacturer of the concealments currently deployment in the field. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. This is set aside for small business’ only. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures." The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 333316. The business size standard is $27.5 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date for submitting a capability statement is July 9, 2019 at 3:00pm Eastern Time. All submissions should be submitted electronically to Kaitlyn.M.Mahafkey@usdoj.gov.
