Description
Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify in locating capable small businesses, including Service Disabled and Veteran Owned small businesses, or any business size, capable of providing the items as listed in the attached Statement of Need. NAICS Code 339112, Welch Allyn Connex Vital Machine. These items are for the Department of Veteran Affairs, Coatesville VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd. Coatesville, PA 19320. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the principal components of supplies listed in the attached document. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, Point of Contact, business size info. All information is to be submitted via e-mail at walida.moore@va.gov. Information provided will not be returned. All responses shall be in the English Language. Responses are due by 3:00pm EST on Thursday, July 11, 2019. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. Questions can be submitted electronically to walida.moore@va.gov. This is a Sources Sought Notice and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice DOES NOT CONSTITUTE a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), NOR IS THE GOVERNMENT OBLIGATED to issue an RFQ. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. End of Document STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) 1. Contract Title Welch Allyn Connex Vital Signs Monitor 2. Background With the activation of building 2 in Coatesville, Primary Care will need 17 Welch Allyn Connex vital signs monitors to fill the exam rooms. The building has a tentative opening of December 2019. 3. Scope The project shall require the contractor, CME to procure #17 Welch Allyn Connex vital signs monitors that will be needed in the clinic exam rooms for the activation in building 2. These will be used in primary care. 4. Salient Characteristics SureBP ® technology that can provide BP in only 15 seconds BP averaging to help ensure accurate hypertension diagnosis SureTemp ® Plus Oral Axillary or Braun ThermoScan ® PRO 6000 Tympanic Thermometry Choice of leading SpO2 technologies: Masimo ®, Nellcor ® or Nonin ® Options for WiFi ®, Ethernet and Bluetooth ® connectivity to EMR systems Single sign-on options including integration with Imprivata available for quick, secure clinician login Connectivity to Detecto Health o meter ® and SECA scales Options for mobile stands wall mounts and integrated exam systems to solve workflow requirements Secure: FIPS-approved encryption of transmitted data and a range of additional security features Automated Early Warning Scoring to help clinicians identify and respond to signs of patient deterioration (i.e. MEWS, NEWS) Customizable workflow options for documenting patient observations (i.e. Is & Os, Pain Scale) and vitals modifiers (i.e. BP cuff location) 5. Performance Monitoring - None 6. Security Requirements - No special security requirements are anticipated. 7. Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Government-Furnished Information (GFI) - None is anticipated 8. Other Pertinent Information or Special Considerations a. Identification of Possible Follow-on Work - No follow-on work is anticipated. b. Identification of Potential Conflicts of Interest (COI) - No COI is anticipated. c. Identification of Non-Disclosure Requirements - N/A d. Packaging, Packing and Shipping Instructions - Equipment to be shipped 30 days ARO. e. Inspection and Acceptance Criteria - Equipment will be inspected upon receipt and if no damages are incurred during shipping equipment will be accepted. 9. Risk Control None identified 10.
