- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Design-Build Project 659-18-406, Structural Upfit for Nuclear Med Camera Building 2 W. G. Hefner VA Medical Center (Salisbury, NC) The Department of Veterans Affairs, W. G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center Salisbury NC, 1601 Brenner Ave., Salisbury, North Carolina, has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, incidentals and qualified supervision for Design-Build Project 659-18-406, Design/Build Structural Upfit for Nuclear Med Camera, Building 2 at the Salisbury VA Medical Center. This pre-solicitation notice is in relation to the requirement described under market research notice 36C24619Q0733, posted to FBO.gov in June 2019. All work performed must meet all applicable codes and regulations and be in strict accordance with the contract drawings and specifications, to be provided with the solicitation, when/if released. The period of performance is estimated to be 30 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP) with design work. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000 (see VAAR 836.204), inclusive of all design and construction costs. The applicable NAICS code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a SBA size standard of $36.5 million annual revenue. This requirement will be solicited under a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Prospective contractors must be registered in CVE VetBiz in order to be considered (see https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/). The solicitation, including specifications and drawings, will likely be available on or around Monday, July 28, 2019. The specifications, drawings and any amendments and notices, if any, will be posted on this website, www.fbo.gov. The due date for Phase 1 proposals will be not less than 30 days after issuance of the solicitation, with the actual timeframe to be disclosed at time of solicitation release. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a Request for Proposals (RFP). The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. All interested vendors should register on this website. It is the offerors responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments/notices to the solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to obtain access in FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov).
