Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project #652-19-103 Elevator Modernization Project The Department of Veterans Affairs, Richmond, VA has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials and supervision necessary to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for 652-19-103 Elevator Upgrades project as required by accompanying drawings and specifications/documents. Work is to be performed on 3 passenger elevators that serve 6 floors Lower Level, First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth. Project 652-19-103 for the Hunter Holmes McGuire Department of VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1201 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond VA 23249. Magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS CODE: 236220 Size Standard: $36.5 Million This modernization of the elevators at the Richmond VA Medical Center project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: Providing all mechanical, electrical, general construction labor, material, equipment and supervision needed to perform the modernization of 3 passenger elevators (P1, P2, & P3) in accordance with contract documents. A brief listing of some of the work to be performed is noted below. Refer to Section 14 26 26 for additional information: 1. New Controller and supervisory panel 2. New Traction Hoist Machine, Ropes and Governor 3. New Conductors 4. New Door Equipment 5. New Hoistway Panels and Tracks 6. New Car Door Panels 7. New Car Operating Panels 8. New Hallway Fixtures 9. New Safety Governor This solicitation is anticipated to be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about July 24, 2019. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Bids will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained.
