- CEHNC will provide critical Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization Services in support of the Fort Riley, Kansas locations by awarding a firm-fixed-price contract using FAR 8.704(a)(2)(i) with a performance period of one year. In accordance with FAR 8.7, "Acquisition from Nonprofit Agencies Employing People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled," agencies shall satisfy requirements for services from the Procurement List maintained by the Committee for Purchase from People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled. Research of the Ability One database determined that these service are currently on the Procurement List and these services are currently being performed by a registered Ability One Program vendor ‘Skookum Educational Programs'. Consequently, Ability One is a mandatory source for this service and is therefore selected for continued performance. This is a non-personal services contract to provide DPW support services for Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) work; Demand Maintenance Order (DMO) work; and Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) services. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, communications devices, transportation, and fuel necessary to provide DPW support services for ITM work on specified elevators and lifts, generators, engine-driven fire pumps (fire pumps), air compressors, cranes and hoists and electronic lock systems; DMO work on specified elevators and lifts, generators, fire pumps, air compressors, cranes, hoists, and electronic lock systems, on all infrastructure including facilities, structures, grounds, improvements, appurtenances, and associated plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and utility service systems in all designated facilities; and SRM services on all infrastructure including facilities, structures, grounds, improvements, appurtenances, and associated plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and utility service systems in all designated facilities as defined in this PWS and the Technical Exhibits and All work performed by the Contractor shall be performed in accordance with all this PWS, applicable laws, regulations, Army standards, instructions, and commercial practices.
