Page 1 of 1 In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the service disabled Veteran-owned small business, Four Points Technology, located at 14900 Conference center Drive STE 100, Chantilly, VA 201151: ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 1 Prostate Triplane Transducer, 12-4 MHz Simultaneous biplane & endfire imaging 5 EA The Salt Lake City Veterans Health Care System (Urology) requires five (5) additional BK Ultrasound Prostate Triplane Transducer probes (Probes). The Probes are used for medical procedures that utilize ultrasound waves to capture live images inside the body. The probes will be used in conjunction with the existing equipment to relieve lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The Probes are used to perform the above-mentioned procedures on a weekly basis. The turnaround time requires five (5) to be in working order and available and allow for the other five (5) to be in processing. The Probes are dual function - perform Side-fire and End-fire biopsies. Market Research was conducted by searching the required sources of supply, including VA s NAC website, FPDS and GSA Advantage, and conducting pre-solicitation exchanges with Industry. The results indicated that the Probes are available from only one distributor, Four Points Technology, a service disabled Veteran-owned small business The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339112 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 Employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Friday, July 5th, 2019. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to kurt.tanny@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
