Description
This synopsis is to inform industry that the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) intends to modify purchase order HHSN2712018000706P to increase the ceiling from $199,860 to $245,686. The increase in the purchase order ceiling will be issued to satisfy the agency's need during the remaining period of the purchase order performance. The purchase order was awarded to the Children's National Medical Center on September 30, 2018 and includes two (2) 12-month option periods. The purchase order period of performance remains unchanged. The purpose of the purchase order is to provide NIMH with autism neurocognitive data support services. The NIMH intends to modify this purchase order pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b) to the current contractor. An increase in the ceiling of the current purchase order is required to allow the Contractor to fulfill the additional work to be performed in order to support the increase in the caseload of patients being evaluated by Children's National Medical Center. The Contractor is uniquely qualified, alone possessing all the elements critical for performing the requirements detailed in the Statement of Work. No other Contractor could provide a comparable service in a timely and cost-efficient manner. It is essential for optimal performance of this purchase order that there are no disruptions in performance and that smooth continuation of services be provided by the Children's Medical Center. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (20-JUN-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
