Description

This Notice is Modified to include the prior related contract number: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to John Hopkins University to conduct an adaptation of JHU's Strategic Integrated Geo-temporal Mapping Application (SIGMA) spatial optimization model to address questions on reaching geographically hard-to reach children for routine immunization between Q4 2015 to Q3 2016. Johns Hopkins University's prior knowledge and expertise derived from performing a prior contract (200-2015-M-63169) associated with the current overarching CDC requirement is vital to ensure consistent viable results are acquired under the current proposed contract action necessitating the need for a sole source award. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
