Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation, request for quotation number 70Z02319QMSE08600, for "Determining the suitability of sodium and potassium dry chemical fire extinguishing agents for use in the marine environment and their firefighting capability". The evaluation of the dry chemical's susceptibility to clogging and caking after aging, as well as the effectiveness of ISO and UL test methods is required. This SOW includes both base and optional requirements. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The applicable NAICS code is 541380 - Testing Laboratories. The SBA small business size standard is $10M. This is an unrestricted requirement.
