Description
52.237-1 Site Visit. Site Visit (APR 1984) Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction). (a) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigation and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. (b) An organized site visit has been scheduled for June 20th, 2019 at 9:00am Central Standard Time (c) Participants will meet at “ The FEAD building, 427 Allen road, Meridian MS 39309 OR (b) Site visits may be arranged during normal duty hours by contacting: Name: Jason Clayton, Contracting Officer Address: 427 Allen Road, Meridian MS 39309 Telephone: 601-679-2510 Email: jason.e.clayton@navy.mil Base access procedures require that all individuals seeking access to NAS Meridian are subject to a federal background check. New SECNAV 5512/1 (Background Forms) must be completed and turned in to Pass and ID by the individuals ™ Base Sponsor. (For the purposes of this site visit, the Base Sponsor will be Jason Clayton) All individuals entering the installation will need to complete the following tasks: 1. Completing a SECNAV 5512/1 (attached with solicitation) 2. Provide two forms of Government ID, for example a Valid Driver ™s License, Social Security Card, Current Firearms Permit, or Hunting/Fishing License. 3. Provide proof of Current Insurance and Vehicle registration. 4. Be entered into the DBIDS system (takes about 5 to 10 minutes) Pass and ID issues daily passes, but If a contractor is completing a project that will take more than one day, Pass and ID can issue an extended Pass at the request of the Contractors Base Sponsor no exceptions. Extended requests should include the name of the individuals to receive an extended pass and a start and end date. - PDF File of UFC for clearer drawings in Appendix C - PDF drawing of fence layout to replace file that is cut off - PDF fillable federal background check form NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-JUN-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
