Description
RENTAL/SERVICING: TOILETS, SINKS, SHOWERS & DECON TRAILER 2019 BURNING MAN EVENT The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office has a requirement for the rental of ADA Compliant Portable Toilets, Hand-wash Stations, Portable Shower Trailers and a Decontamination (Decon) Trailer for BLM support of the 2019 Burning Man Event. Overall, the BLM requires five (5) ADA Toilets, three (3) Hand Wash Stations, one (1) 4-6 stall Shower Trailer, and one (1) 2-3 room Decon Trailer. The rental units will be needed for various lengths of time and at different locations as identified in the attached Statement of Work. The need is for a fixed event and these dates must be met. The Service Contract Act (SCA) is applicable and the appropriate SCA Wage Decision is attached. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price contract. The Burning Man Recreational Event is an international art festival and an experiment in a "temporary community dedicated to radical self-expression and self-reliance". The temporary community of Black Rock City is created for eight days and becomes the seventh largest city in Nevada. The event takes place on the Black Rock Desert within the Black Rock/High Rock NCA, managed by the Winnemucca District Office. A Special Recreation Permit (SRP) is issued to Black Rock City LLC, which is responsible for all activities within Black Rock City. Quoted prices shall include all costs associated with rental, delivery, set-up, daily servicing, pickup, and removal of all units. Proposed rates shall include, but are not limited to, labor (as required), equipment, operating supplies, materials, any applicable taxes (including workers compensation costs), insurance coverage, transportation costs, overhead, and profit, and any other costs/fees necessary to deliver and service equipment as stated. NOTE: Resources furnished under this order may be subjected to extreme environmental conditions on the playa location, including high winds and extreme dust. As a result by submitting a quote and accepting a purchase order (if selected), the contractor agrees that what is considered wear and tear under this contract may be in excess of what the resource is subjected to under normal conditions and is reflected in the rates quoted. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (12-JUN-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE. PLEASE CONTACT 877-472-3779 or fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
