- This is a Sources Sought announcement and is for information/market research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. The Government reserves the right to cancel this sources sought. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service Southern Region 8 anticipates the solicitation of a five (5) year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) multiple award for disaster recovery supplies and services including but not limited to the following types road maintenance and construction, blading of roads, placement of aggregate, culvert cleaning and replacement, tree removal, debris removal, ditch cleaning, trail maintenance and construction; non-living facility construction to include but not limited to parking lots, utilities, campgrounds, sheds, gazeboes, and other small storage units; and equipment rental to include but not limited to excavators, diggers, dozers, and other light or heavy equipment. These supplies and services may be required in Region 8 National Forest and grasslands located in the following states, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia. The type of set-aside decision to be issued will depend upon the capabilities of the responses to this sources sought announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Economically Disadvantage Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. Small business, Section 8(a), HUB-Zone, EDWOSB and SDVOSB are highly encouraged to participate. Firm's response to this Sources Sought shall include announcement number 1243ZP19R0006 and be limited to two (2) pages including the following information: 1. Firm's name, address, point of contact, telephone number, email address, and DUNS number. 2. Firm's interest in submitting a proposal when the requirement is synopsized. 3. A brief description of experience providing these types of services and supplies including dollar value of previous worked performed within the past three (3) years. 4. Firm's Business Size (include DUNS #). 5. Firm's Joint Venture (existing), including Mentor Protégés and teaming arrangement information is acceptable.
