MARKET RESEARCH “ SOURCES SOUGHT. NO SOLICITATION EXIST This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research purposes ONLY. This information will be used to determine the availability of vendors capable of meeting the Government ™s minimum requirements. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine whether there are potentially qualified SMALL BUSINESS concerns capable of providing Campbell Grinder Mode ES750 Repair Services at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation to bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential Offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set-aside the requirement for SMALL BUSINESS. NAICS Code: 333517, Machine Tool Manufacturing. Description/Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, labor, material, and equipment to provide the programming and software changes in the Campbell Grinder to perform the silicone rubber grinding per specifications from General Electric (GE). The Government may use the responses to this notice for information and planning purposes. The Draft SOW describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of services and may vary from the work scope in a final PWS included in any Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Government will make available to the Contractor any operation instructions and manuals that are on hand for the Campbell Grinder. If the Contractor stores materials, tools and equipment within the work-site of equipment being repaired, it is at his/her own risk. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) prior to this action. The Government is not responsible for theft, damage of this property. The machine is located at NAS Jacksonville, FL, Bldg. 101. The Contractor shall have the ability to obtain access to the U.S. Naval Station. It is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a Firm- Fixed-Price (FFP) contract, with a Product Service Code (PSC) of K036 and NAICS Code of 333517 with a size standard of 500 Employees. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Responses to this Sources Sought (SS) notice shall not exceed three (3) pages and shall be prepared using Times New Roman font no smaller than 12 point. The technical capabilities statement shall include: A cover page containing the company ™s name, address, CAGE code, DUNS number, years in business, affiliate information, parent company, joint venture partners, NAICS code 333517, business size/socio-economic status, Government business point-of-contact name, phone number, and email address. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this SS notice or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation package will be accepted because there is no solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) will not be provided and no appointments for presentation will be made. Responses shall be submitted by 11:00 A.M. ET, June 7, 2019. Any questions must be submitted in writing to kenneth.b.brown4@navy.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted.
