- The purpose of this Amendment is to answer Vendor submitted questions and revise Attachments A & B based on the questions received. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Question: In regard to the hosing/tubing required for connection. Based on the type of gas being used, a different hose/tube may be required. Can you please confirm if the CO2 units are intended to be used with a wall gas or a gas cylinder? If it is wall gas, is it your standard NIS or DIST? Answer: The unit is intended for use with a Gas Cylinder. Question: Is there a typo in the part number for the Hose for Cylinder Pin Type, referenced in the solicitation documents as part number MAJ-180? Answer: Yes, this is a typo. The correct part number should read MAJ-1080. Attachment A Price/Cost Schedule and Attachment B Minimum Salient Characteristics/Product Description have been revised to reflect the correct part number for CLIN 0004. Question: The solicitation states VA expects that it will receive the most favorable prices, warranties, conditions, benefits, and terms for the same product as that was given by the supplier to other customers. In this VA solicitation, is our most favorable pricing etc. a legal requirement or a request? Answer: The most favorable pricing is a request only. Question: Could you please answer a quick question that will help us formulate our proposal: - Units for UCR part number is listed at 467 however only quantity 8 of two of the other items, and quantity 2 of the remaining item. We understand there is no commitment to quantity over the life of the award, however, could you please help us to understand the proportion of UCR quantity to the other items should we anticipate roughly equal quantities of UCR and the other items, or should we anticipate any possible combination of quantities? Answer: In reference to your question concerning the proportion of UCR quantity to the ancillary items, the customer has stated that the estimated quantity provided is based on the data they have for each ancillary item purchased for the past year. However, they did note that they had limited data to complete their analysis and as such you may be better served to anticipate any possible combination of quantities.
