Description

The United States Coast Guard intends to negotiate and award a sole source fixed price purchase order with WRG Fire Training Systems. The scope of this contract is to provide Shipboard Fire Fighting and Damage Control Training for a USCG cutter in Everett, Washington. Specifically the following US Navy courses: General Shipboard FF (A-495-0416), General Shipboard DC (K-495-0045), and Shipboard Integrated Team Training (A-495-0018). This award will be one session of each training: General Shipboard FF (A-495-0416), General Shipboard DC (K-495-0045), and Shipboard Integrated Team Training (A-495-0018) for 24 students. This award will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). WRG Fire Training Systems is the only company that has been certified by NETC as "safe to train" in the Pacific Northwest (including Everett, WA, area), and therefore can use the Navy curriculum. NETCINST 1500.13 (series), NETCINST 1500.16 (series), NFPA 1402 and NFPA 1403 provide facility requirements to be eligible to be certified by NETC as "safe to train." WRG is the only company in the Pacific Northwest that complies with all of the facility requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611519 Other Technical and Trade schools, with a size standard of $15M. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurement(s). To be eligible for awards with the USCG, offeror must be registered with the System Award Management System (SAM) www.sam.gov.
