- Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 is conducting a market survey for firms capable of providing Steri-Trac Air Monitoring System and Gas Sensor at the New York Harbor Healthcare System, Brooklyn campus. The contractor shall be responsible for the sensor exchange/ calibration and maintenance services for the Steri-Trac Air Monitoring System which includes four (4) ethylene oxide gas monitors and a ChemDAQ computer module. The four (4) ethylene oxide sensors for the gas monitors require periodic (every four months) calibration. Scope of Work: The contractor shall track when sensors calibration are required, contact VA when calibrated sensors will be sent, and deliver calibrated sensors to the VA every four (4) months; provide pre-paid return shipping labels to the VA for the old sensors to be returned; shall repair all malfunctioning equipment, to include the ChemDAQ computer and the four (4) Steri-Trac gas monitors; shall provide any necessary updates to the software/ firmware for the ChemDAQ computer and shall provide loaner units to prevent down time should any equipment needs to be moved off-site for repair. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 334519 (Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing) and the standard size is 500 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J099 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Miscellaneous). All responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email: charnell.cunningham@va.gov) and must be received not later than May 29, 2019 at 10:00AM EST. Interested parties shall provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities (resumes), DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time may not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 334519. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced separately, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
