Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal or request for quote. This Sources Sought Notice is a market research tool being utilized to determine if there are a sufficient number of qualified vendors for set-aside prior to issuing a request. In conjunction with Public Law 109-461, the Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM) are seeking vendors in the following: Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. All responses will be provided by an e-mail response. No presentations will be scheduled. CFM is conducting market research to lease office space at the Baton Rouge National Cemetery in Baton Rouge, 70806. The following requirements are as follows: Background: Background and Proposed Action U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs ( VA ) intends to lease office space at the Baton Rouge National Cemetery in Baton Rouge, 70806, East Baton Rouge Parish, State of Louisiana. Scope National Cemetery Administration intends to lease the office for up to 10 years. NAICS Code 531190 Product Code X1AA. Objectives The proposed lease is an initiative with NCA to utilize vacant NCA lodges and generate revenue for National Cemetery repairs. All revenue will be sent to NCA Finance office. Tasks To allow Lessee the use of vacant office space for the use of only VA approved office uses. Delivery The VA National Cemetery Administration seeks expressions of Interest for 1,600 Net Usable Square Feet of lease office space. The leased premises are located at Baton Rouge National Cemetery at 220 N 19th St, Baton Rouge, LA 70806. Expressions of interest are due not later June 15, 2019. The lease terms may be up to 10 years with annual payments. All offers must be postmarked no later than June 15, 2019 either by email patrick.tivnan@va.gov or U.S. mail to Patrick Tivnan, Veterans Affairs Office of Real Property, 6 floor 425 I Street Washington, DC 20001. Government-Furnished Property NCA will provide approximately 1,600 square feet of vacant office space at the Baton Rouge National Cemetery 220 N 19th St, Baton Rouge, LA 70806. Security Requirements Any access to leased land must be accessed through public roads only. Place of Performance Baton Rouge National Cemetery 220 N 19th St, Baton Rouge, LA 70806. Period of Performance Proposed Outlease will be for up to 10 years.
