NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE 1. Solicitation Number: W81XWH-19-Q-0160 2. Sole Source Title: Genedata Licensed Software, Maintenance, and Support 3. Agency: The requesting activity is the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), Fort Detrick, MD 21702-5711 4. Contracting Office: The contracting office is the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), Fort Detrick, Frederick, MD 21702-5014. 5. Location: USAMRIID, 1425 Porter Street, Fort Detrick, MD 21702-5711 6. Description: The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) on behalf of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USMRIID) intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price supply contract to Genedata (USA), Inc., located at One Cranberry Hill, Suite 403, Lexington, MA 02421-7397 (DUNS 192969306 and CAGE Code 38ME5). The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 1901. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) citation is 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), and the FAR citation title is "Only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization)" NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-MAY-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
