- Contracting Office: The 408th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB) RCO-Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the purchase for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.603 and Far 13 for the procurement of Slingshot (Brand Name) Vehicular Communication Systems and additional parts. Please see the attached solicitation, and documents for additional information. This requirement is to support contingency operations overseas. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract based on price and ability to meet delivery requirement of 60 days. This is a Brand Name requirement. Interested vendors are cautioned to read the solicitation and attachments in full, to ensure they clearly understand the requirement, and ensure they understand the instructions to offerors. The associated NAICS Code for this acquisition is 334220. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED via Full & open competition. There is no set-aside for the procurement of this requirement. All quotes that comply with the solicitation, and are prepared in accordance with the instruction to offerors, shall be accepted, and eligible for award consideration. QUOTES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 3 May 2019 AT 5:00 PM Local Time. The Local Time is Iraq. (EST + 7 Hours). This is a Brand Name requirement. The Justification & Approval document is attached. Eligibility. All interested offerors must be fully registered in SAM (https://www.sam.gov/) Payment shall be made through WAWF (https://wawf.eb.mil/) Notice to all Non-U.S. based companies: To be eligible for award, a non-U.S. offeror must be registered in the JOINT CONTINGENCY and EXPEDITIONARY SYSTEM (JCXS) at https://www.jccs.gov by the award date. In addition, all subcontractors at all tiers who will be contracted by the prime (including a U.S. prime contractor) during the life of the contract will also be registered in JCXS by the award date or within 30 days of contract if unknown at award.
