Description

The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to submitted questions or concerns from interested vendors. Could you confirm the requested delivery time line Base Year: 05/01/2019 or Date of Award - 04/30/2020. Please note, it will take 6 months to build and delivery a USP-800 Mobile Pharmacy Trailer and complete on sight certification training. Before we submit or bid, we want to confirm the requested delivery timeline. This is a very complex project with many design and unique challenges based upon the location of delivery. The weather and temperature were the USP 800 trailer will be located will impact cost. Could you provide an exact location requested for the US Pharmacy Trailer at the Northport VA Medical Center. The VA requires the procured mobile unit to be CETA- technician certified and operational prior to December 1st, 2019. Planned award date is May 2019. Planned location of trailer portrayed in attached sketch. Specifically, when requesting quotes from potential vendors/suppliers for mobile trailers, I was informed that (specifically for this job) a quote was only to be released to one specific SDVOSB, which had already been provided to them weeks ago. Furthermore, the vendor expressed that this guidance/instruction came directly at the request of the VA, from someone associated with this project. Simply put, we may have misunderstood the procurement process, and if the VA has already pre-selected an SDVOSB/vendor team for this project, we do not want to waste anyone else's time and effort. Please advise, whenever you have a free moment, and thanks in advance for your time. The VA has not pre-selected any vendor. An LPTA methodology will be implemented for selection.
