Description
SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment and supervision required to accomplish the following: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Bush hog, weed eat and remove vegetation from fence at various locations listed below: 1. Hwy 24 Bell Fork Rd foot bridge to Wilson Bay (approximately 3 miles, see map) DETAILED REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS: 1. The contractor shall clear the fence line by cutting vegetation back on the inside of the fence line 30 feet. Vegetation shall be cut to a height 4 with bush hog or other mowing equipment. 2. Vegetation that cannot be bush hogged or mowed shall be weed eat. 3. Upon completion of work there shall be a 30 feet clear zone on the inside perimeter fence and 20 feet outside of fence. 4. The contractor may remove vegetation that is cut, OR mulch vegetation and discard into surrounding wood line a minimum of 10 feet, ensuring not to leave in piles or discard into drainage ditches. 5. All grounds disturbed within working area shall be repaired by filling with clean topsoil, raking, and reseeding with Coastal Lawn Mix applied at a rate of 50 pounds/acre. 6. Disturbed areas include but are not limited to ruts, holes, gouges, scrapes, scratches and tire tracks. 7. The contractor shall remove all trash within working areas and deposit at Base Landfill. Special Instructions: Vegetation that cannot be mulched shall be weighed at the Base Sanitary Landfill located on Piney Green Road and delivered to the Recycling Center on Piney Green Road (across from the Landfill). Hours of operation: 0730 AM-1530 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays.
