- This is a sources sought notice. The contractor will provide laundry services for the VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) and San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS). A draft of the Statement of Work is attached to this notice. We are conducting market research to determine if there are enough qualified vendors to set aside an upcoming solicitation. We are seeking the following categories: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Veteran Owned Small Business All other small business categories The responses from this notice will be used to make the appropriate set aside determination. The proposed solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation under FAR Part 13. We anticipate using an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with an ordering period of five years from the date of award. All interested contractors must respond by email to Angela.Gerlitzki@va.gov before 3:00 P.M. HST on April 9, 2019. Please answer the following questions when responding: What is your company s Socioeconomic Status? Does your company have a facility in California with enough capacity to meet the requirement? Or if subcontracting, a subcontractor of the same socioeconomic status that has the capacity to meet this requirement. Explain the capacity. Please list the 3 largest laundry contracts or schedules your company has with the federal government or another hospital. Include the name of the facility receiving the service and the dollar value of the contract. Note: Limitations on subcontracting will apply if this requirement is set-aside for a small business. Solicitation number 36C26119Q0531 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement.
