Description

Regional Health Contracting Office - Central, intends to award a sole source contract with Covidien Sales LLC dba Given Imaging. Covidien Sales LLC dba Given Imaging, is the only company that can provide the Endoflip 2.0 System required for the evaluation of gastrointestinal motility disorders and reflux disease to guide diagnosis and treatment plans. Imaging technology must provide internal view of the gastroesophageal (GE) junction during endoscopic and surgical procedures. Real time measurements of the pressure and dimensions of the esophagus, and other sphincters of the alimentary canal, must identify major motility disorders during initial EGD. In addition, ballon-catheter must interface with the Endoflip impedance planimetry system and provides controlled dilation of strictures without the need for fluoroscopy. Award will be made on or about 15 May 2019. The NAICS code 339112, size standard is 1000.
