- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7 located in Charleston, SC intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced contract to Heritage Health Solutions, Inc., 300 Parker Square, Suite 210, Flower Mound, TX 75028. Heritage Health Solutions, Inc. will provide community pharmacy services filling prescriptions within a five (5) mile radius or adjacent to the premises of the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) assigned to the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center. The current Pharmacy Prescription Dispensing Service contract is set to expire 03/31/2019. While there is a continuing need for services, a short-term contract is required to ensure those services are continued. Due to the fact, a long-term follow-on base contract is not yet ready, it is the intent of the Government to award a short-term sole-source contract to the incumbent contractor, Heritage Health Solutions, Inc. The short-term contract period of performance is scheduled from 04/01/2019 06/30/2019. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), soliciting from a single source. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 524292 Third Party Administration of Insurance and Pension Funds with a Small Business Size Standard of $32.5 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 3:00 P.M. EST, April 1, 2019 to: Samuel.smith8@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
