The sequencing depth achieved on this platform is delivered in tandem with high accuracy results. This machine can be used to deliver accurate consensus sequences for full-length cDNA sequencing projects, whole genomes, epigenetic analysis, and enriched targeted regions. To meet the increased demands of the projects described above the Genomics and Computational Biology Core (GCGC) requires the capability of long read (> 10,000 base pairs) sequencing to complement the existing short read (< 500 base pairs) technology in our facility. Training in instrument operation and maintenance, as well as data analysis, is included in this acquisition.
