- The Atlanta VA Medical Center anticipates a requirement to provide Temporary Overnight Housing for Male Veterans emergency shelter and food for no longer than 72 hours for 5 Male Veterans authorized by the Department of Veteran Affairs. This will have a performance period of a base year plus four (4) 1 Year Option years and will be Firm Fixed Priced (FFP). The performance will occur at the Contractor s location and Government furnished property will not be provided. These Veterans will be identified by the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Centre (VAMC) for shelter located within 20 Miles of the Atlanta VAMC, after the normal shelter intake hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Care will include, but not limited to: Room and Board/Reasonable Privacy Shall be accessible to Staff Adequate storage for personal Items Linen and towels shall be provided Nutritious meals accordance with USDA Dietary Guidelines The facility will not be part of a building in which other business share space. Transportation for Appointments Drug and Alcohol-Free Environment Locked Storages 24 Hours Admission/W Coverage Alcohol/Drug Abuse Free Lifestyle All interested vendors are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought including commercial market information.
