- GSA Fleet requires circuit connectivity via a dedicated T-1 Virtual Private Network (VPN). This circuit connectivity allows federal vehicle registration information to pass from the Federal Motor Vehicle Registration System (FMVRS) through a quick, reliable, and secure network-based IP VPN solution that is enabled by Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network to all levels of law enforcement (states/federal agencies) when querying the federal vehicle's license plate number or vehicle identification number (VIN).
