We are seeking information for market research purposes only. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is seeking sources who can provide the BRAND NAME or equal item(s) listed below: CLINS DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES QTY UNIT 0001 Waters XEVO TQ-XS system Tandem Quadrupole (Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer) 1 EA Part #: 176850048 Mfg.: Waters Corporation DELIVERY LOCATION: Hunter Holmes McGuire VAMC 1201 Broad Rock Blvd Richmond VA 23249 Required Salient Characteristics for equal system: All components of the entire Mass Spectrometer system must be provided by one company along with service and support. Must expand the scope of ultimate sensitivity analysis in the complex matrices encountered in biomedical research programs. Must meet regulatory requirements for both the pharmaceutical and clinical diagnostic industries. Must deliver the highest degree of chromatographic resolution for separations of complex mixtures of similar and isobaric compounds. Must have source and functionality to keep the ion optics from contamination which is extremely important in working with bile acid analysis in biological samples. Must have software that performs instrument setup, mass calibration and method development. Software that automates procedure. Must have feature that allows highly specific quantitative MRM's data for targeted/known compounds while providing spectral data. You must be able to provide an authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer of your product to be considered.
