- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Anchorage, AK has a requirement for a commercial item or service. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued as a reference only. This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 140F0719Q0012. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) #05-99, effective June 15 and July 16, 2018. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. Description of Requirements The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is requesting quotes for the purchase, packaging and delivery of groceries to the USFWS Research Vessel Tiglax in Homer, Alaska. This is the annual purchase of groceries needed for the field season. Vendor must provide and palletize groceries and supplies per the R/V Tiglax 2019 Food Order list and deliver them to the Pioneer Dock in Homer, AK. The order shall be delivered on Friday, May 17, 2019 - the ship load-out day. Vendor must provide a fork lift (or other means) to move the pallets off the truck and onto the loading dock without breaking down the pallets. Vendor must contact POC to schedule delivery time. The basis for award is Best Value to the government. Deliverables Dry goods, meat, frozen food, ice cream, bread, dairy products, paper products, produce, and beverages per Food Order List.
