- 1. SUBJECT: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is inviting qualified, experienced Veteran-owned Small-business and other Small-business construction firms to demonstrate their interest in participating in a future multiple award IDIQ contract by attending a face-to-face business engagement with procurement decision makers from NCA. 2. DISCLAIMER: In accordance with (IAW) FAR 15.201(c)(7), agencies are encouraged to promote early exchanges of information about future acquisitions. IAW FAR 15.201(f) [g]eneral information about agency mission needs and future requirements may be disclosed at any time. After the release of a solicitation, the contracting officer must be the focal point of any exchange with potential offerors. This notice is issued solely for the information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kind of offers will be considered in response to this notice. There is no cost to attend this business engagement. 3. SAVE THE DATE: The NCA Construction Job Order IDIQ Business Engagement is scheduled to take place on April 4, 2019. Attendees will meet face-to-face with procurement decision makers at the Business Engagement Center (BEC) located at 801 I Street NW, Washington DC 20001. 4. BACKGROUND: The Planner of this requirement is the National Cemetery Administration (NCA). The Organizer of this notice is the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). The NCA seeks to gather market research in order to identify verified construction firms as potential candidates for the performance of services, in various construction categories; to include but not limited to, minor construction and nonrecurring maintenance construction projects at multiple NCA facilities nationwide. Please reference the link to the district map provided with this notice. The NCA projects a total contract value (TCV) for this IDIQ to be approximately $25,000,000.00; with projects ranging in value from $10,000 to $500,000 per task order, issued over a five-year period of performance (i.e. one 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods). The feedback gathered at this event will be used by the members of an Integrated Project Team (IPT) as stated at FAR 15.201(e), to derive price, delivery, and other market information; to include capabilities for planning purposes. 5.
