- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for the acquisition of digital recording software, equipment, accessories, associated installation services, as well as maintenance and technical services. This contract will support the Social Security Administration ™s (SSA) Digital Recording and Processing Project (DRAP). The Office of Hearings Operations (OHO) is responsible for holding hearings and providing appellate reviews as part of the agency ™s administrative appeals process. Currently, all hearings must be recorded digitally because a certified record of the hearing is required if a claimant files a civil action in the United States District Court. Once recorded, a hearing becomes part of SSA ™s official claim file. The contractor shall support, maintain, and replace the SSA ™s existing architecture for recording and reviewing disability hearings, as well as implement upgrades to the digital recording solution. There are approximately 1,900 Digital Recording units located in over 880 OHO hearing sites in the United States and some US territories. The contractor shall provide equipment and services to be delivered and installed at specified hearing sites throughout the United States and its territories. It is anticipated that SSA will award a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm fixed unit prices. The proposed IDIQ contract is for a base period of 12 months with four 12-month options. This requirement is being conducted using the procedures in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, FAR Part 15, and FAR Part 19. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 541512 and the small business size standard is $27.5 million average annual receipts. This requirement is being set aside totally for small business concerns. In order to be eligible for contract award, the offeror must qualify as a small business in relation to this procurement ™s NAICS code by the closing date specified in the solicitation. The solicitation is anticipated to be available on the FedBizOpps website on or about April 3, 2019. Qualified parties interested in submitting an offer should download the solicitation from the FBO website. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be honored. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (19-MAR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
