Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source bridge contract for the continuation to efforts currently under contract N00024-14-C-4107 that will provide supplemental support services required for the U.S. Navy's domestic and international submarine rescue program. Specifically, this effort encompasses the operation and maintenance (O&M) support services for the submarine rescue systems that perform rescue operations worldwide during distressed submarine (DISSUB) rescue events, training/exercise, operations domestic and international, equipment certification, and Operational Readiness Evaluations (ORE). The Submarine Rescue Operations and Maintenance Contractor (SROMC) is responsible for: maintaining all systems in a constant high state of readiness; and providing appropriate and sufficient personnel and services necessary for the engineering, management, technical and logistic support, mobilization, deployment, operation, storage, and repair and maintenance of the Submarine Rescue Diving Recompression System (SRDRS) on a 24-hour-per-day, 7-day-a week basis.
