Description
Pre- Solicitation Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 has a need for Annual Emergency Generator Preventive Maintenance. The contractor shall provide all transportation, material hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise to provide the services. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5. Place of Performance: Charles George VA Medical Center 1100 Tunnel Road Asheville NC 28805. Period of Performance: Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be a 6 month base year and 4 option periods of one year beginning April 1, 2019 September 30, 2023 in strict accordance with all schedules, specification, terms, and conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation. Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is a VOSB set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 335311, Power Distribution and Specialty Transformer manufacturing with a size standard of 750 Employees. This requirement will be solicited as a VOSB set aside. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a multiple award Firm Fixed Price in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about 19 March 2019 via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website via https://www.fbo.gov/. All potential offerors are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at the FedBizOpps website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the following: SAM database at https://www.sam.gov Veteran Owned Small Businesses must be registered and verified in VetBiz.
