Description

The scope of this project consists of furnishing labor, equipment and material to Replace and Upgrade the 30 Ton Chiller System located on the Mezzanine in Building 212W. The project location is on the south side of Rodman inside the Joint Munitions and Technology Center (JMTC) Manufacturing Area on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. US Army Garrison (USAG) - Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) has a requirement to replace and upgrade the 30 Ton Chiller System on the Mezzanine in Building 212W in accordance with this Scope of Work (SOW), the attached specifications in Appendix A and the attached drawings in Appendix B. This project will require the following work activities: 1.1.1.1 Perform a prebalance on several pumps. 1.1.2 Remove 30 ton water cooled centrifugal chiller located on the Mezzanine. 1.1.3 Remove existing chilled water pumps located on the Mezzanine. 1.1.4 Remove existing condenser water pumps located on the Mezzanine. 1.1.5 Remove all chilled water piping on the Mezzanine. 1.1.6 Remove condenser water piping on Mezzanine that serves the water cooled chiller. 1.1.7 Disconnect and remove all controls, both pneumatic and Direct Digital Controls (DDC), for the demolition of the water cooled chiller, the chilled water pumps and the condenser water pumps located on the Mezzanine. 1.1.8 Disconnect and remove the electrical power feed for the demolition of the water cooled chiller, the chilled water pumps and the cooling towers located on Mezzanine. 1.1.9 Furnish and install one (1) 30 ton water cooled chiller on the Mezzanine. 1.1.10 Furnish and install new chilled water pumps on the Mezzanine. 1.1.11 Furnish and install new chilled water piping on the Mezzanine. 1.1.12 Furnish and install new DDC for the new water cooled chiller and chilled water pumps on the Mezzanine. 1.1.13 Furnish and install new electrical power feed for the new water cooled chiller and chilled water pumps located on the Mezzanine. 1.1.14 Furnish water balancing for the new equipment on the Mezzanine.
