- In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis for the brand name products, valued at $234,999.42, detailed in this announcement. The FAA intends to award a delivery order (DO) to Iron Bow in accordance with the terms & conditions of its SAVES VTC contract (692M15-18-D-00004) for ThinkLogical manufactured equipment & extended warranty. ThinkLogical equipment will be acquired to support Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to connect the terminal radar approach control facilities (TRACON) to the tower. DO placement against the Iron Bow SAVES VTC contract will be issued in support of FAA AJM-25 En Route & Oceanic 2nd Level Engineering. The SAVES VTC requirement was previously competitive solicited as a small business set-aside. This announcement is issued to advise interested parties of the FAA's intent to issue an award valued in excess of $150,000. If your firm does not agree with this single source brand name determination, please provide evidence of your firm's capability and experience in providing the supplies and services outlined herein and the FAA will evaluate accordingly.
