Description

The Government is seeking quotes for the requirement below, listed in this solicitation notice synopsis RFQ: 36C24219Q0410. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 of the Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting an unrestricted competitive solicitation for qualified firms capable of providing quarterly maintenance services, software updates, and repair services for two (2) Universal ProCare Sonopet Angeled Handpieces and one (1) ProCare Sonopet 110V Console with Foot pedal and Pole for the Manhattan campus of the VA New York Harbor Health Care System. The continued use and preventive maintenance of the Sonopet equipment is essential for the Surgical Department in order to provide medical treatment. Quantity Description Serial# Product# 2 Sonopet Angled Handpiece, Universal ProCare 1016700144 1719900534 5450820000W 1 Sonopet 110V Console with Foot Pedal and Pole ProCare 1720500564 5450850000W Preventive Maintenance services shall include, but need not be limited to, the following: 1. Cleaning of equipment. 2. Reviewing operating system software diagnostics to ensure that system is operating to the manufacturer s specifications. 3. Calibrating and lubricating the equipment. 4. Performing remedial maintenance of non-emergent nature. 5. Test and replacing faulty and worn parts and/or parts which are likely to become faulty, fail or become worn. 6. Adjusting and calibrating as necessary. 7. Inspecting electrical wiring and cables for wear and fraying. 8. Inspecting all mechanical components including, but not limited to patient restraints and support devices, chains, belts, bearing and tracks, interlocks, clutches, motors, mechanical integrity, safety, and performance. 9. Performing Electrical Safety Inspections, which should include line cord ground wire resistance and leakage as specified in the Conformance Standards. 10. Returning the equipment to the operating condition defined in Section C, III, Conformance Standards (in the Statement of Work). Please review the Statement of Work included in Solicitation Number 36C24219Q0410 Pages 4-11 for more detailed information about the requirement. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, licenses, tools, material, parts and supervision to perform services, as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW) found in RFQ: 36C24219Q0410.
