Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, JBSA, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, intends to award on a sole source basis, a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to the University of Texas San Antonio for Genotyping and Bioinformatics Analysis Services. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541714, Research and Development in Biotechnology (except Nanobiotechnology), PSC AN41, R&D Medical: Health Services, with a corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees. The proposed contract action for which the Government intends to solicit from and award to one source is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The Government intends to execute this award on or around 20 March 2019. This notice is neither a request for quotation nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-MAR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
