BACKGROUND: The warehouse will have racking installed where supplies and commodities will be stored. The racking will require a forklift to elevate to 20 to clear the top rack. This unit will also be used in the warehouse to load/off load shipments. The forklift mast must be able to enter a trailer. The requirement of two (2) lifts will allow the warehouse to operate more efficiently. Please send comparable product to Tyler Hallock @ robert.hallock@va.gov. REQUIREMENTS: 4000 lb capacity sit down electric forklift Height required is a minimum of 20 Overall Lowered Height must be under 100 Carriage must tilt forward and backward Length of forks must be 40 at a minimum Side shift and fork positioner option required Tires will be solid pneumatic Back-up alarm and flashing beacon required Battery and battery charger included DELIVERY - Upon completion the contractor will be required to deliver the forklifts to 510 Butler Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25405. WARRANTY The contractor will provide the standard warranty on the unit as well as the power train. WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION The contractor will provide a comprehensive owner s manual. and laminated quick operational guide for each unit.
