- NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego “ Seal Beach Detachment intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 to Eaton Corporation, 8609 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27615. The proposed contract action is for replacement parts and installation to an existing Eaton manufactured system at Naval Satellite Operations Center (NAVSOC) Point Mugu, CA. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (b)(2). NAVSOC supports the operation of the Telemetry Tracking and Commanding (TT and C) for on orbit assets worldwide. Its current UPS system is manufactured by Eaton Corporation and supports NAVSOCs Telemetry Tracking and Commanding on a large portion of NAVSOC ™s on-orbit assets. NAVSOC must directly replace its UPS parts required for the system to operate at full capacity. Professional installation is also required and may only be performed by Eaton approved vendors. As such, the approved vendor for Ventura county is RAM TEK Corporation, 1328 Valencia Avenue, Unit M, Tustin, CA 92780; who will be sub contracted out to delivery parts and installation. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail to Melissa.Ferri@navy.mil. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Responses are due by 18 March, 2019, 12:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time.
